Wild . . . can be relative. Wild Sky Community Trails Association is interested in exploring and helping implement healthy ways to use and improve trails. That means patience and learning the issues involved with land management, stake holders and the govt. agencies who form policy. We hope by virtue of attention, caring, education and hard work, to be apart of a positive approach so everyone has a relatively wild place to enjoy.

"Sky" is for the Skykomish River. Skykomish comes from the Lushootseed word sq'íxÊ·É™bš, referring to "upriver/upland people". The Coast Salish peoples cultures continue as living traditions connected to this place.

Together we can support the process of promoting non-motorized trails and recreation by raising awareness as well as working in the woods. We post opportunities to join work parties etc. on facebook and here.
